Oh, I know you know what I think.
But don't fucking worry. Seriously. I'm not that guy, and I'm not going to make a move. Despite everything, you're still with him. You've got a guy, and I'm really not going to eff with that whole situation. He's a good guy, and you've got a good thing going. I wouldn't expect you to leave him despite the obvious intellectual and emotional connection going on between us.

Does it destroy me on a daily basis -at the very core of my being- to know I can't hold you in my arms and love you up? Abso-fucking-lutely.
But does knowing I still get to hang out and have complex and thoughtful 4 hour conversations with you make my days on this earth just a little bit better? Yes...it does. And if that's all I can really take from this...I'll take it.
I'm not going to ruin your relationship or threaten our friendship over what may just be a simple case of "two people who relate on virtually every level". Which is something we've both said about each other. And it is rare, to meet a person who you not only can talk to at an intellectual level, but someone who also challenges your ideas...but doesn't make you angry at the challenge. It's unique, I'll give you that. It's special, and I love you for being the first person I can really have a full and educated conversation about this reality we live in.
We're adults. We can act like adults. We will continue to act like adults.
