(no subject)
My day started at 8:00 today, when I woke up!
This was unfortunate, because usually I am out of the house by 8. Boo.
But, I managed to make it to work about three minutes after I'm technically supposed to be there, and I was clean, clothed, and even had my lunch. So it could have been worse.
It also could have been better, if my father, who was hanging out reading a book in his bed, had woken me up when he noticed I hadn't. It's not his fault my alarm didn't go off, I know, but I've woken him up before, and it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out the time I leave, since it is the same time he usually leaves.
So I said to him, very calmly, as I was frantically combing my hair, "Hey, in the future, if you notice I'm not up, could you come knock please?"
To which he resoponded, "I thought maybe it was a different schedule."
There is not a different schedule! There has never been a different schedule! I leave at the SAME TIME. EVERY DAY.
This is the only schedule there is!
Bah.
Also today, a kid asked me if logs go to heaven.
I think I need a nap.
