AHHHHHHHHH I AM SO PISSED OFF I AM GOING TO HURT SOMEONE.
OKAY so this is how this seller got away with that bullshit.
He listed it as a "created" diamond, which si somethign Craig and I didn't notice.
And you can measure ANYTHING in carats, because 2.5 carats = .5 gram. So those "diamonds" equaled .5 gram total.
HOWEVER, he did have it listed as rated on the GIA scale with a VS1, and if it was a fake, it wouldn't have ANY flaws in it (a VS1 means that is has slight flaws, naked to the eye).
So he wasn't lying until he got to the rating bit. HOWEVER, I am nto going to ask for my money back anymore. I am going to keep the thing and leave engative feedback, alerting other customers of how he screwed me over with that.
After all this, I think I want to be a jeweller. Finding out how diamonds work is intriguing.
ANYWHO, we are saving up our money (we have £100 in our savings account already. lawlz) and going to Bailey Banks & Biddle when we get back to Florida and buying the $1000 Mikimoto ring I wanted to match my great-grandmother's Mikimoto pearls (it's a tradition in my family to wear those pearls when you get married. Her husband brought them back from Japan during WWII, so it's like history). AND I DON'T CARE IF I EAT RAMEN FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE.
