When I'm feeling alone,I close my eyes andI think of how your loving smileIs such a precious sight,And how your arms around meFeel so comfortingAnd right.I think of how I'm free to beMyself when I'm with you.I hear your voice every night,One of an angelSlumbering so light.You might be the oneGod sent to meFrom the heavens above.I think I'm falling,Falling in love.I think of how you makeSo much in lifeSeem wonderfulAnd new.But then I awokeAnd saw you,Slumbering so softAnd true.Then somehow,I feel better thenBecause I clearly see,As I hold you close,God placed an angel,Upon my heart. - Paul Marshall © 2006-2007
