Dude. All this house stuff is making me all stressy.
As a result my dailyplate tracking is a little, uh, worrying - what can I say, I'm a stress-eater.
Essentially, we have two options in the place we're looking at: 1) a small 1 bedroom + den unit that we can easily afford but will grow out of (and we'll actually have to purge a lot of stuff to live in), but that has at least 6 people interested in it so there's almost guaranteed to be a bidding war; or 2) a 4 bedroom place that we can currently afford, and that has a basement suite so we could rent out part of it for extra income, but that if interest rates were to double or something we'd be extremely strapped (though still probably okay). Plus, with that one we'd have to deal with being landlords, but at least we'd have a place we wouldn't have to sell in another few years if we wanted to start a family.
If life were super kind, the 4 bedroom would be the one accepting offers first as we have a real cap to how much we could offer and then if we didn't get it we could over-bid on the 1+den... however, we have to make an offer on the 1 bedroom this Sunday (factoring in 6 people competing for it), and then we can't even view the 4 bedroom for another couple of weeks.
To top it all off, there's little info on what the interest level on the 4 bedroom is - there were a couple of people interested over a year ago, but they haven't really been in contact with the sellers since then so there may not even be multiple bids on the 4 bedroom...

On an entirely different matter: I used to not totally mind Hillary Clinton, but now I hate her - she's the quintessential "politician". A smug, smarmy, hand-shaking, baby-kissing politician. I hope she goes away real soon.
