Season SEVEN?? Oh, bloody hell. No wonder I hate myself. ::bangs head repeatedly on keyboard::
So I haven't updated my LJ in a while, mainly because my life has been unbelievably boring and there's nothing to say. I'm enjoying all the VividCon reports being posted by various people; hopefully I'll be able to go next year. It sounds like a fun time was had by all.
Oh wait, I do have news. Have decided to permanently adopt Spike the Cat. To quote Cordelia: "He kinda grows on you. Like a Chia Pet."
The Season 2 BtVS marathon is not going so well. Up to today, I've shown my Dad everything from "When She Was Bad" to "Ted". Of course I've been dying to reach "Surprise"/"Innocence", cause that's when the show really hooks you and reels you in. So this afternoon we watched "Bad Eggs", and my mom actually sat down to watch it with us (!!!), and I'm all excited thinking "Woo hoo! I'm going to get my mom hooked on BtVS too!" And of course "Bad Eggs" is like the ultimate in cheese, and Mom is snarking at it, and I'm all "Oh yeah, well, just wait til Angel loses his soul!" except of course I didn't say it out loud 'cause that would spoil it. So then I start "Surprise", and five minutes into the episode both my mom and my dad FALL ASLEEP. And then halfway through, my dad wakes up and leaves the house to go run errands. And I'm like "Noooooo! You can't go! You're missing canon here! It's only the biggest moment in Buffy history!" He left anyway.
