She keeps looking for patterns and the world just happens
The amazing wonderful talented f1renze has vidded Veronica Mars, and it's sweet and heartbreaking and beautiful and emotionally wrenching and just absolutely perfect, and every single person reading this should go watch it right now if you haven't already. Or even if you have. But not if you haven't seen all of VM Season 1 and want to remain unspoiled, cause BIG HONKING SPOILERS. So go watch the show, and then go watch f1renze's vid, because OMGAWESOME. I get a pass cause I spoiled myself already, heh.
And dammit, I wasn't gonna get sucked into this show, I really wasn't. I saw the first ep and had issues with the VM universe and characters, so I quit. And the fact that everyone else in the world was all "omg Veronica Mars!!!1!" just made me stubborn in my avoidance. But I think that this vid and sweetestdrain's recent ficlets have finally broken me. Am downloading torrents um, Netflixing as we speak. So congratulations, you two; it's All Your Fault.

In work news, today was ... interesting. Boss comes by my desk at 11:00 and says, oh hey, there's gonna be a BIG meeting in 2 hours and you and Jim (the guy I'm working with on this project) are gonna present a demo of all the stuff you've been working on, kay? And I'm like, .......... uh, okay. And Jim, who by the way is totally the brains on this one, I'm just working on surface stuff - Jim goes, oh, I'm leaving in half an hour so I won't be here. And Boss says, no problem, Pips can do it by herself, right? And I'm all, Fuckity fuck.
It ended up being okay and I didn't embarrass myself too badly. Just, ack! Stress! *spazzes out*
