I am waaaaaay behind on my friends list. I have no idea of anything that's happened since Monday or so. It's rather pathetic. So if you're wondering why I haven't been commenting, that's why. I am working on catching up, though. Promise!

Speaking of friends, the list of people who have friended me has grown by 33% in just the past week. I am torn between being incredibly flattered, and wondering what you all are smoking. Ha.

tzikeh is EVOL. Yes, she is. She made me submit "Ordinary" for the VividCon Premieres show. Even though it is my first real con (come on, Slayage didn't count!), and even though I was already nervous about meeting all these people I admire and trying to not act like an idiot in front of them, and even though my plan was to slowly acclimate myself to the whole con environment by just being a spectator this year. Well, all that is now shot to hell, because my vid will be up on the big screen. Gah! ::wibbles:: MEEP!! ::hides under bed:: Blame tzikeh.
And sockkpuppett gave generously of her time to help me figure out how to convert the file to the proper frame rate. She's a peach an enabler. Yes, a dirty filthy enabler. Blame her too. (BTW, Lum, I figured it out this morning - got a working version that is non-jerky. Thanks for your help!)

If you have any of these songs on CD and can rip them into .wav format, please let valarltd know; she needs to remaster the audio on her vids in time for VividCon.

For all you Mozilla and Firefox users - did you know you can post to LJ directly from your browser? There's an extension called Deepest Sender that will let you do it. I'm using DS right now and OMGIloveit. The best part is the "Normal", "Source", and "Preview" tabs that will let you see different views of your post in an instant. It's awesome.
