The best birthday present ever!! - and its not even my birthday yet!!!
So, despite it not being my birthday for another........week...... my dad decided to give me one of my birthday presents ever.
Before I tell you what it was...... let me just explain that my dad does not have the best history with gifts... he tends to get me books that I'll probably never read.....or the same with games. He does get it right sometimes.... but....usually not.......... I still love him though.
This time though....he got it OH SO RIGHT.
So, anyways........ the box that contained my gift came earlier in the week, while my dad was gone. I was the one who brought it in actually, not knowing what it contained. When I asked him, he said it was a birthday present for me, and I could open it early if I wanted to.
I said I'd rather wait.
So tonight, while we were watching the Tony Awards (which were awesome! Sean Hayes <33) he comes in and sets the box down on the couch beside me. He then tells me I can open it if I want, so.......... I do.
And you want to guess what was inside?
A WII SPORTS!!!!!
Kay, so some of you might not be impressed. I would guess that a lot of you already have one, and have had it for many years.
But *I* never had video games growing up. That's right. Not one......nada, zip, zilch. The only time I played video games was when I went over to my friends houses. I was the more, outdoorsy, reading, writing, type.
This is considered somewhat blasphemous amongst my friends, who all have video games and are absolutely nuts about them. It also means I often get the "you are a stupid ape who just drooled on your shirt" look when they're talking about a video game and I have no idea what they're talking about. Much fun.
(I'd like to add, that my first experience with video games was Katamari. Yes, that game. Which is awesome, soooooooooo weird, and very fun)
But now..... I have my own video game and video game system! Well....its in the living room, and we'll probably all share it..... but I'm home the most often.during the day..by myself.....so I can learn all the games and then beat my parents mercilessly! Wahahahaha!
*ahem*
Anyways....I just thought I'd share the news! ^^
