I have a babysitting gig this week. Oh man, I don't know how that happened either, but it did and it's not going to be as bad as the last multiple child, several days in the same week gig went. Two kids, one with major ADD problems. It was the recipe for instant stress.
I'm tired, but not tired enough to get to bed right now. I keep thinking about what I had for dinner. I had chicken teriyaki with gyoza and miso, and it was very good. The gyoza especially, Haruki makes the best gyoza with just the right amount of pork in the middle and the lovely, light tempura batter. MM MM. Japanese foods are the best. After that, it was Cruise Night over a Sam's Club, so we shot over there for a good oggle. And, oh my, were there so many cars to oggle.
I think, I think I may have scared my brother and father a bit. We were inspecting a nice '69 GTO until I looked up and yelled, "I THINK I KNOW WHAT THAT IS!" and ran off across the lot. It was a "Judge" GTO, made either in '68 or '70, I'm too lazy to check, and I called it from a few hundred feet away. That's the 'I think I scared 'em' bit. Plus I called another few cars faster than my dad. (Also, the purple Duster keeps showing up...)
Reading that damn book has really helped. Also, Chevelles are way too popular. I wanna see s'more GTOs and GPs and Falcons (in order, there were only 4, 1 and 2 there). I've turned simple, if this is the most exciting things of my weekend. WaterFire eating aside, because you can get nearly any sort of junk food imaginable at WaterFire and it's good because a lot of the nice restaurants turn out booths to make a lot of money. I got some kettle corn and a chocolate mousse-cake-whipped cream-Oreo thing that was well worth the stomach ache.
I realize that I should stop talking about cars. Hah, I have to check my facts a lot with that shit, plus I'll get not a one of you actually give a shit to boot. Ah well.
