Death Note is thesmex <3 and Raito was so prettily animated I couldn't help but gawk, stare and attempt to snog attack the screen. Yes I'm high, but then again it's 5am :3
However I also felt that the anime had that sort of... artistic touch to it - with exaggerated camera panning, zooms and the eyes. Mmf such lovely eyes .-. They also sure know how to exploit the music. I was captured first at the beginning tune of Nightmare and then, was forever hooked :(
Oh my, I definitely can't wait to see L and Raito stand together. I think I might just hit pause, stare forever at the screen and dissolve into a speechless mess.
Hmm on a sidenote judging from the trailers of the movie which occured donkey years ago (I am of impatience) L seems to look better than Raito (but thats imo of course). Not that I'm complaining because pretty boys are all the same to me. I guess there's something about dark eyeliner applied liberally under the eyes that seem to work and in Tamaki-senpai's logic, the pretty item named Raito handcuffed to him :)
As for D.Gray Man, maybe I'll talk about Allen and deformed zombie hands and its unusually pretty mix in another post. And maybe another potential melt down of brain cells when episode 2 is out and Kanda flies on scene. Maybe.
