Alright, it's finally (already) July, about two more months till I leave SH. Requests for gifts and stuff are quite welcome, as long as 1) I know beforehand, 2) it doesnt (quoting Charles) cost an arm an a leg, 3) it doesnt take up the mass of china in my bags, 4) i wont get shot at the airport when they find it in the luggage, 5) i wont get shot by you for not being able to find it anywhere, and 6) i am allowed to atleast pretend to throw it at you when i give it to you. With that settled, update!

So, beginning of July in Shanghai... therere good things and bad things happening...

Good/Bad thing(?): For the sake of saving electricity (uhh...well, thats what they told me... *shrugs*), our work week has shifted from monday-friday to tuesday-saturday, which is quite nice, cause in china, not having to deal with as many people in shopping places and such is very much a big deal (atleast it is for me!)

Bad thing:Again, in order to 'save electricity', tuesdays have become a `haha! no AC for you guys! :-D` day for at our workplace, forcing us to rely on electric fans, paper fans, and the ever-so-useful 'hand fans', which i somehow managed to develop into a quite effective manner of smacking myself (yes, it really has happened, and three other people were there to witness it... anyone care to laugh? :-D). So to sum it up in three words: it is goddamn-o-f_ckin-hot.
Good thing:BECAUSE the AC gets shut off, on tuesdays, if the outside temperature reaches a certain level, we are allowed to go home for the afternoon, which is especially nice after monday being off and stuff.

Bad thing: Probably because the roomies like to have the AC in our apartment on at around oh about 22 degrees celcius when they sleep, they both managed to catch colds, and I ended up catching something of a stomach flu probably from something i ate.
Good thing: My thing went away in less than two days, they are still kind of recovering from their colds... okay, maybe that wasnt supposed to go under the `good part`, but it is nice to be able to say `ha, told you so` when they somehow do not seem to understand how they got sick in the first place.

And a bunch of other stuff. For anymore, IM me and talk to me when I`m on. I`ll be the one being very bored.
