Fanfic recs
Don't you just love it when new fics come out and they absolutely blow your mind away? Well, I do, especially when the fandom is as small as Initial D. When I went to the Initial D page on FF.net, I wasn't expecting to find anything good...and that means anything that doesn't have Mary Sues, OCs, and silly little cross-overs. So, when I opened up the page and encountered 2 absolutely fabulous fics, I swear, I just about died and went to heaven. So, I recommend that if you are fans of Initial D you should read
A Bad Dream by Aranel Naur. (
aranel_naur) This little fic will leave you speechless and completely stunned. You really will wish that it was all just a bad dream. WARNINGS: severe angst, character death and it may just make you cry.
Indecision D by BakaNaiYo. There's only one chapter so far but this thing just gives you goosebumbs. It's a RYOUTAKU fic which just makes me SO happy because there's so few of them. The characters are perfect, the interactions are realistic and flawless and the writing is exquisite (minus some errors). The writing is so true to the Anime/Manga that you can imagine that it was originally part of the series but was later cut. It's a wonderful little gem and I can't wait to read the next chapter. Must read for all Initial D fans, especially RYOUTAKU shippers. (There's hints of KeisukeKenta...which usually I don't like but in this fic, it's hilarious). Well, being the first chapter there's no smut as yet...well no REAL smut but the things that go through Ryousuke's and Takumi's minds will be enough to make you take a LONG cold shower...well...at least sweat. Rating: NC-17
Now here's three Black Cat fics which I absolutely adore:
Desire by Kuri. An absolutely adorable fic featuring my favourite Black Cat pairing (Sven/Train). So cute. Rating: NC-17
Truth about Black Cat by Tazzy. OK...completely different but lovable nonetheless. Again a Sven/Train fic, but then again what else would it be? Lovely interaction between Sven, Train and Eve....I love gentle Sven...
Kids and Love by Silver Wings of Demon. This is NOT shota! It's not what it sounds like...come on Sven's a gentleman, he wouldn't take advantage of a CHILD! Anyway, it's a Sven/Train fic set when Train was turned into a child due to the nanomachines. Lovely little fic about first times and love between two partners who can't live without each other. Rating: NC-17
