Random dribble, Initial D II and White Snow info
I was rudely awoken this morning at the unGodly hour of 7AM. Usually, this wouldn't be so bad but today's a Sunday and Sunday is my day to sleep in. To wake up at 11 (or around there) and not feel bad about it. But no...not this week...today my mother decides to wake me up early to go buy POLES. Yes. You heard right. I said POLES. We are in the middle of building our fence and so she decided to buy some support poles. But here's the kicker...after we bought them, the builder tells us we don't need them. So...I was woken up early for no reason and then I had to go return the damn things. So now I'm sleepy and I want to go to bed but it's almost 6PM which means dinner will be soon so I got to go get that later. I am also hungry and I can't snack on anything because 1) there's nothing and 2) it'll spoil my dinner.
I was searching the net the other day and came across a forum about the Initial D movie. Apparently there's a second one coming out set around the time Bunta gets the Impreza. That doesn't shock me so much, considering the first movie did pretty well, considering the character flaws which were there (especially Ryousuke's character). What surprises and confuses me is that the actors that played Ryousuke (Edison Chen) and Keisuke won't be in the sequel. How can you have a sequel without all the actors from the first stage? How strange is that...and, even though I think they could've chosen someone better to play Ryousuke, Edison is HOT so he fulfills that aspect of Ryousuke pretty well. Oh well...what can you do right?
I went stationery shopping yesterday (yes, you heard right, stationery) and you know what? I think I've found my new hobby. I love just standing there in an aisle full of pens, books etc. and choosing the ones I want and messing around with the new, quirky inventions (like the lava ruler - which is a lava lamp in rule form). Dorky, I know. But hey, I like it! Anyway, I bought this notebook which is pretty cool. It's a Marbig Professional Notebook which comes with dividers and is covered with a case (I only bought it because of the case). It cost me $10.00 and I was thinking that's alot to pay for a notebook, but, like all things, I talked myself into it. It be good to put my honours notes and things in because it looks professional. So I bought it and now I'm having second thoughts. Not about buying it, I'm glad I did, but about the SIZE. There was an A5 and an A4 one, my brothers (who were with me at the time) told me to buy the A4 one, but I personally like smaller notebooks so I wanted the A5. But, I convinced myself that it would be easier to use the A4 (larger pages = more space) and considering the A5 one had the same amount of pages, so the A4 one would be more value. So now that I have it, I'm starting to think I should've bought the A5 one. For 1) it's neater and easier to write on when standing 2) it'll fit neatly into my bag and won't be so cumbersome when I'm carrying it around and 3) it was cuter (yes, a notebook can be cute)....Oh well...hindsight is only 20/20 right? Or was that foresight? *shrugs*
OH! for all of you who are reading White Snow, I'm suffering from writer's block at the moment and am trying to get the next chapter out. This time though, I have no idea what the next chapter will be about so I'm having a little trouble. I do know that I want it to focus on Takumi again and to be set a little while after the events of the last chapter (maybe a week or so). However, that's as far as I got because my Muse decided to get sick. So I'm Muse-less and irritated because this month is almost up and then I'll only have a month left to complete the fic. For those that don't know, I gave myself a deadline to complete the fic because at the end of February I start uni again and I won't be able to write much because I'm going into my honours and will be very busy. So, since I wanted to finish this fic and don't like leaving things for long periods of time, I set myself the deadline. OH! that also means that during those months I'm at uni, this journal will be pretty much untouched (unless I need a place to rant or procastinate). Please be patient. I will update the fic soon, right after I give my Muse a kick in the butt and dope him with so many drugs, he'll regret being sick (or become more sick *bites lip anxiously while checking on her Muse who is foaming at the mouth*....oops! maybe I shouldn't have done that...DON"T WORRY!!! I didn't kill him!).
I think I've ranted enough and now the majority of you probably think I'm a complete tool for having a rant about stationery. *hides self in shame*
