Celebration time on Saturday?
Hi guys!
As you may have noticed, the creation date for this comm is 2007-08-18, which means our 5th birthday is coming up in a few days! Probably, anyway. It's not like lj is known for its reliability in record keeping!
Considering the somewhat splintered nature of fandom now, it's quite an achievement that our little comm is still chugging along, and that we've managed to acquire over 200 members too. Celebrations are in order!
I'm going to keep some of my celebratory stuff secret until the day itself, but I thought I'd give everyone a heads up right now about some of it!
Notably:
1) The fanfic rec post!
To celebrate the cool fanfic that has been posted on the site, I'm going to put up a post and ask everyone to rec one cool fanfic from the comm's history! Share the love!
2) The fanart rec post!
Similarly, in this post we're reccing one fanart from the wealth of cool stuff that's been posted over the years!
3) Your favourite moment!
Pick your favourite moment from the comics starring Piper, Trickster or both. Then grab a scan, and post it up with an explanation!
Finally, feel free contribute anything else to the celebrations on Sat. Let's make our sleepy little community shine, if only for a little while :-).
