Ever-Changing

Write a message in a bit of sand,
watch it be swept away to a different land.

Ne’er twice is a beech the same,
some believe it is quite a shame.

The waves come in and change things around,
creating and destroying valleys and mounds.

Every little crinkle
was made by a twinkle

of water caught in light,
in it's great power and might.

How I'd love to see that power first hand
no one will be able to understand.
