When I was young and idealistic, I always felt that democracy and capitalism were ill-suited for each other - although democracy gives everyone an equal vote at the ballot, uneven distribution of wealth gives the rich a disproportionately large say in what happens in government, via PACs, lobbyists, etc

They're pretty big on public financing, as well as Congressional ethics and earmark reform.
