Well. That was disastrous.

It seems like all I ever talk about are Muggles nowadays. It's not that I dislike them, quite the opposite really, some can be ever so charming and quaint, but it's the dull ones... There are just so many dull ones. And the ones that aren't are too few and too far between.

I actually found a nice one, wouldn't you know, and it all had to get mucked up when one of the horrid ones from a fortnight ago thereabouts showed up at our table tonight at Fifteen, slinging accusations left and right at me (as if I would really do anything so spurious as what he suggested!). Needless to say, he came off like a right nutter, and I tell you there is nothing quite so uncomfortable as sitting there staring at your plate and toying with your diamonds (Finchie, you do have my eternal devotion, love) whilst some prat is yammering on all sorts of insanity, hoping he'll go away. And there's absolutely nothing you can do about him because too many people are starting to stare. And not in the nice way.

Such a shame. I was hoping the mileage on this new one would last a week, perhaps. He obviously had the dosh and didn't mind spending it. I very much doubt that'll happen now; likely he now believes I'm flypaper for mentalists.

Although... silver lining: his taste in dining establishments was crap, anyway.
