It's Giving Tuesday
And I just gave myself a pair of tickets to go see Saxsquatch at Siberia in New Orleans in March. They were pretty cheap, less than $50 for both. I'm not sure what kind of concert a sax player wearing a 7-foot-tall Bigfoot costume puts on, but I aim to find out.
2025 is going to be weird and I'm not going to fight it.
I don't have plans for the 2nd ticket; I was going to ask Other Sarah, but her father just died and that seems like extremely awkward timing. I may hook up with someone from the Knowledge Fight Facebook group--there are quite a few Louisianans in it--or maybe Lori or Jeremy will want to go. Or maybe I'll just give it to someone via Bluesky or Threads. I've gone to weirder things by myself.
I got my orrery kit yesterday, which was way sooner than I was expecting. I'm excited to start it, but first I have to finish the jigsaw puzzle sirena73 sent me.
