I was rummaging through craft stuff the other day when I came across that stash of old photos of New Orleans that one of my cousins had sent me last year. Or was it earlier this year? Time is a flat circle. I had planned to use them for collage bases, then sort of forgot about them, and anyway I did this last night.
I feel like it might be better if I removed some of the elements. I don't know, is this a "less is more" or "more is more" situation? It would be easy to remove some of it, because of the smooth surface of the photos. The elements stick, but they also peel off with no effort. Like Post-Its.
Either way, the giant kitten climbing the building is definitely staying; it's the exact right size and position, and I cackled with artistic satisfaction while gluing it on.
