I got a nail buffer at CVS, the kind that's 4-sided with gradually finer grades on each side. I know, that's not a big deal. But you know, self-care doesn't always have to be, like, "I just booked myself a month's vacation at one of those resorts with the grass huts on stilts in the middle of the ocean!". Sometimes it can just be "I remembered to drink water today" or "I ate a vegetable".
Anyway, I've had nail wraps or nail polish on my nails pretty constantly for several weeks, and they're a bit of a mess. So I'm going to buff for at least 10 nights and use the Burt's Bees lemon butter cuticle cream. The quality of a lot of the Burt's Bees products declined sharply after they were bought out by Johnson & Johnson, but not the cuticle cream. I've been using that for... shoot, it must be going on 25 years now. Whenever I run out and don't immediately buy more, I can count on having multiple hangnails within days. Especially once I started working at the job I have now, where industry SOP requires anti-bacterial soap in the bathrooms. It's extremely drying.
Los Espookys is finally back! I can't believe it's been 4 years since the first season. I'm just relieved they made another season, because HBO Go is axing a lot of their original content, although so far most of the Spanish-language stuff seems to still be around. I've been taking Spanish lessons on Duolingo for almost 2 years, and I was quietly excited to understand a lot more of it, although I suspect I will always struggle with spoken Spanish a lot more than written. Native Spanish speakers talk so fast!
I finished another coloring book page:
I know koi don't live in the ocean, but this fish reminded me of one. So I used mostly red, orange, and yellow for it, with accents of silver, gold, and black.
