Something Inspiring

I know, I know. I have not written in exactly one month. When my mom and her friends at work questioned why I had not, I simply replied, "I have not been inspired." I went from spending my time in Spain, where everyday was a new experience, to travelling all over the place in the US and literally fainting one day from exhaustion. While here, I have returned to my ever-menial life of exciting summer jobs. Now I work in a hospital. I do random things like working in the pharmacy arranging meds and copying papers for 4 days straight (8 hours each day). What is so exciting about my life to write about? I have simply been uninspired. That is, until today.

Today I went to see Farenheit 911 with my parents. If I was not already angry with what was going on in the world, I would have been today after seeing that movie. Of course, I agree with the contents, so for me, it was a GREAT movie. I laughed and I cried, but most of all, I was very angry. I was angry at how much we were duped, and how, for some reason, people STILL want to re-elect a man who has mislead an entire world. It puzzles me. Although I have to be careful, under the new Patriot Act, I cannot say things like that without getting into too much trouble.

My point is, go see Farenheit 911, and at least vote. If you vote, and it is against what you wanted, at least you can say you tried. If you want change, you must vote. Otherwise, do not complain about the state of our country.

I will now step off my soap box.
