Glorious blue skies today.
I think I'm finally coming out of my winter funk, after an unusual but good weekend. The award for Best Experience of the Weekend probably goes to dancing to Jack Rabbit Slim, the rockabilly band (complete with terrific double bass player) at Madame Jojo's on Saturday. The Fruli strawberry beer I had at the Marlborough in Richmond on Sunday comes a close second; it had the texture of beer, but tasted like a strawberry smoothie. It was quite sweet, so probably not everyone's cuppa (as it were), but still very drinkable.
