Not in the best of moods today, being back at work but still recovering from a heavy 3 day bout of shivering in bed alternating with an old-fashioned consumption-style hacking cough. The repetitious "Please place your item in the bagging area" voice from the self-scan tills at Tesco this evening nearly made me want to go over and place a heavy blunt object firmly in somewhere that wasn't the bagging area.

Feeling much calmer now though.
