We Chinese folks love to boil things

For once, I'd like to hear "The unsub is most likely female. Asian. Age twenty-five to forty."
Unlikely. Just look at Hello Kitty.
I hate Hello Kitty.
I hate her for not having a mouth or fangs like a proper kitty.
She can't bite off a nipple or finger, give head, tell anyone to go and f**k his mother or lick herself. She has no eyebrows, so she cannot look angry. She can't even scratch your eyes out. Just clawless, fangless, voiceless, with that placid, blank expression, topped by a pink ribbon.
Poor Hello Kitty, having to go around itchy, unlicked, unscratched, tortured by her own filth.

So I finished the book in a day. The cover and stupid synopsis on Amazon.co.uk is so deceivingly chick lit. The book is about an Asian-American woman and the stereotypes she has to deal with. PFFTTTT. My ass. Okay it did cover that but like it wasn't like the main body of the book. I like all the stereotypes the author brought out though. And all her critique about modern society. I like critique about modern society in general because anyone who watches Daria knows it's a sick, sad world we are living in. Anyway, I do so recommend the book. It's witty with some twisted dark humour in it too. Perfect for a twisted kid like me. The characters are twisted in their own way. But aren't we all?

Some things I didn't quite like about the book.
The sickest part of the book is how lightly it treats death. There were various references to Fight Club. About doing god's work. I wished they didn't capitalize the g in god. Seemed a lot like blasphemy to me. I might not be the holiest person but I still hare blasphemy. And seeing it splattered all over the book was quite an eyesore.
