These numbers come out to 01:02:03 on 04-05-06 --the first half representing the time and the latter half as the date-- and that is when this entry is being posted. This sequence of numbers will not occur again until 2106. What one should do to commemorate such an event is a matter of personal opinion. (Many might find it a good excuse to f*ck or get drunk) But it might be appropriate to stop a moment and imagine what the world will be like next time 01-02-03-04-05-06 comes around, in exactly 100 years.
It's hard to imagine this world actually being here a hundred years from now, at the rate we're going. If the US keeps going in the current direction, for example --initiating "pre-emptive" attacks to war against each country that might attack us, so let's get them first-- we will have been at war with so many nations I'm afraid we may eliminate our species before the century is over. But IF we survive the ravages of war and stupidity, then what?
I see visions of Sodom & Gomorrah, with people commonly having sex in restaurants, subways and elevators (you can't smoke anymore, but public fornication is ok) ... assault and murder are condoned as pre-emptive measures: "The guy was walking right behind me, he might have been a mugger, so I got him before he could get me" ... in addition to the increased breast size due to generations of ingesting bovine growth hormone (which IS currently causing premature development in young girls), new advancements in hair dye chemicals will cause deterioration of brain cells, so that all females will have DDD breasts and sub-70 IQs (no one, of course, laments this fact) ... all wilderness areas will have been depleted, natural production of growing food will have ceased, and humans will subsist on artificially-produced chemical pellets or wafers. Soilent Green, anyone?
