Things which I have learned today at work: Wrigley's introduced Doublemint gum in 1914 and the doublemint twins advertising campaign in 1936. Also, I would appreciate it if field crew would not bring back gum wrappers. I guarantee you that the gum wrapper will biodegrade in the ground before it becomes archaeologically significant. The church I go to has been undergoing renovations since last January and now they are almost done. The choir is putting together a Broadway Night (which is really more a Broadway and Popular music night), something we usually do every May, to re-open the Wednesday night programing. Every year in New Orleans, the last weekend of April and the first weekend in May are taken up by Jazz Fest. It sort of becomes all anyone talks about whether they go or not, and most people I know don't end up going. Well, my choir always does a tie in even of Gospel Sunday on the May weekend for services. I just finished watching All the Small Things.  Anyone else see it?  A lot of the reviews call it too cutesy and hopelessly middle class, but I have to say that I enjoyed it.  My enjoyment has a lot to do with the fact that I am a huge choir geek and want desperately to join Ester's choir.
