*   I had a great time at Chort's Pirate Feast on Saturday.  Contrary to appearances and/or expectations, it had nothing to do with the fact that the Peacock had to work late and missed the feast.  I blame it all on the red hair.  I especially enjoyed talking to a wonderful gentleman - and I use that word in the purest sense.

Stitch DC just called - they were able to work out the (enormously increased) order with the dyer, so they've been working through the waiting list - and I'm in the Stash Club!  (Every month you get a pattern and enough yarn to make it - things like socks, lace shawls, purses -- felted and not, mittens and maybe even a summer tank).  I thought it ( Read more... )
