(no subject)
Last night in Florence *boo* Tomorrow? ROME! *yay*. Im excited and a bit nervous in all honesty. I hear they have a huge pick pocket issue there. My mother experienced women throwing their infants at her *literally* so they could go into her pockets while her arms were occupied. Another girl from my dorm told me a friend of hers had his passport, money, credit cards, and ID stolen. He went to the police and in turn was thrown in jail for ten days due to no ID. Ill be watching myself for sure. Beyond that its going to be a shit load of fun. I plan on doing one of the pub crawls and hoped to get tattooed today in order to wipe out and soreness by that time. They day has escaped me and looks like it will have to be top priority tomorrow before any sight seeing.
Yesterday evening I met up with my friend Christina whom I dormed with in Venice. She is my unofficial stalker on my journey as she is heading in the same direction as me and staying in the same places except shes a day behind my schedule. We had dinner along with her roomie Nick who is an adorable baby faced English dude who has already been deemed out pet as we are dragging him everywhere with little choice in the matter. We shot pool *the hostel has pool tables and a cocktail bar* and watched Borat while drinking wine until late hours. They both joined me for DaVinci this morning which was most educational and awesome. Nick opted out of Pisa so Christina and I made the journey alone just in time to take a few pics before heading back. We have a swimming date in about a half hour.
Im off to try and catch my mother on her lunch hour before the party begins! *flee*
