Elisha Ann Fulljames is 8 months old today. Things seem to change so quickly but subtly that I wouldn't know what to tell you was new. I feel like she has been trying to crawl for forever. Clapping her hands just seems natural. Eating all the food in the world is just obviously inherited from her Mummy and Daddy.
This month has seen Elisha have her first proper sickness bug. Seeing my little lively baby reduced to barely being able to lift her head was heartbreaking. Feeling fobbed off by the Doctors, and doubting my own instincts was horrible, yet when ti was over, she just act like nothing ever happened. She is still building her strength up and is needing more naps a day at the moment, but she is smiling and chatting away now.
This coming month will see Elisha being moved into her own bedroom. I already know that it will upset me more than her.
I really enjoy her company at the moment. She understands so much more than you might expect. Happily sharing toys and dummies with whoever she likes, and chatting away as if it means something. I want to cuddle her forever.
