WV 8 Challenge #10: Write About Your Muse

My muse isn't a person or a place-- it is inspiration. I take inspiration from the TV shows that I love to watch as well as the books I love to reread over and over. I find that I get inspired by shouting out loud at my TV screen over something that a character did or shouting at the book I'm reading. Sounds silly I know but I get so swept up by these worlds that sometimes I feel like I'm living them ;)
I got my start writing fanfic for Supernatural and I really need to feel like I'm living with the characters because that is how I knew them best.
And that is also true with my original writing-- I might not have clear details regarding the plot but I can just see the characters come to life as if they were standing right in front of me. I can touch them and hear their voices as I write my story. I become my characters as I write because for me their adventures are so vivid that I need to get it down on a page.
