For a variety of reasons (some legitimate, some not), I completely neglected my two plots at the town's community garden this year. I'm very sorry for this, of course, as I now have a burning desire to garden (or to plan to garden next year). I received several threats throughout the summer from the community garden police--clean-up-your-plots-or-else. I do believe I've received the final threat. I want to abide by it and get my plots cleaned up. In the last month or so, I've gone to tackle the weeds in my plot a time or two. Both times or twos, I've hacked and whacked for 15 minutes or so and given up. The weeds are too much for me--they're taller than I, much too plentiful and, truly, far more stubborn than I (believe it). To clean up my plots seems an impossible task, to say the least. But I really need to do it--to tackle the weeds. (Quickly!) I don't want my plots to be taken from me. What am I to do?
