So the lie part is, that this whole part about just meeting for fun or when they happen to have time is not true. In fact Tsubasa uses to have many guest at his appartment like Juniors and such. But when he's with Takki he can even talk about serious things, things that make him worried. And Takizawa is his number one person to talk with when he's worried, whome he can tell his true feelings because Takki is equal to him like his family (and Tsubasa really loves his family and visits them as much as he can). So when they started talking about things like "I don't really know what to say to him, it's so weird, we can't talk to each other. weird", which they said a lot in some interviews over the recent years, that one is not true at all. I think Tsubasa started having the idea of finally speaking this out after the MC part at Fukuoka, which was cute but Takki started that talk again and for like the first time ever Tsubasa clearly said something like "No, actually I don't see any problem talking to you about whatever" and Takki was like "...... wait, what? Not? But I do...?". So we evolved from "we can't talk to each other, because it's so weird" to "actually this is the most important person I turn to when I have anything to talk about, things that make me worried, not even work-related".
