le argh

There is a lot to say, but I know that if I say it all you will not read this entry. :P So I will do my best to keep things concise, aren't I lovely?

The trip to David's Bridal Wednesday wasn't all too bad. Everyone else was an hour and a half late, and Liz saintly sacrificed her time to stay with me until the rest of the group arrived. I had already been flitting around in a dress for half an hour or so when everyone else finally got there. The rest of the visit was interesting, it didn't take all too long, thank goodness. Kristi made some snide comments about my weight and how I could not possibly lose a dress size by June, and therefore should go with a larger dress to help me feel more 'comforable'. She also insulted Mom, and Adam only made matters worse by being snippy with both me and Mom. Libby complained about having to wear a dress, but considering the other issues she was having that day, she was only a mild nuisance.

Turkey Day was indeed yummy. We had the party at my cousin's, well, he's house sitting for a woman that he used to work for that died a good while ago. He cleared permission with the estate owners to have a Thanksgiving gettogether, so all was well on the legal end. it's amazing how much more time I spend with my aunts now instead of my cousins that are my age. I simply have nothing in common with them. They're country, rowdy, crazy...and not in the same manner I am. Hmmm.

While up in the mountains, I managed to finish the rough draft of my english final paper, and I worked on my learning journal for religion. I only have five entries left, which, considering the fact that I did have twentysome, I kick ass. I know that doesn't sound like a lot, but believe me, it was a huge weight off my shoulders. So when I came home, I started working on a painting for my religion final, and I am all but done with that.

I came into the Mac Lab to print off the rest of my works so as to have them mounted before Tuesday. HOWEVER, it is inevitable that I have printer problems. So currently, one printer is down for the count, and the other bigger one is being used. So I am essentially sitting here until the other girl finishes printing her stuff, and then I can print off one of my files. Hopefully. Blargh. We shall see what happens. At the moment I have to print out six things for Color Theory, and two things for Typography. Le argh. The fun never ends. :P Thank God I have tomorrow to do some printing work too, otherwise, this would be even more hellacious than it already is. The bad thing is that I also have a painting to do for Color Theory that I um, haven't even started on yet....so yeahhh. That's going to be a bitch. I might just give up on this printing thing for today and just go back to the room to paint.

The lesson to be learned from this: haste makes waste, but if you try to get something done early, you don't even get waste. And waste is better than nothing. :P
