random update since I'm not in the mood for sleep.
Friday my school's boys basketball team had possibly the biggest games of the season. They played the number one school in the state. We are ranked number 2 or something. Anyway, everyone went and there was news people and all that good stuff. I got a bottle thrown at me by an underclassman because none of the upperclassmen wanted to sit down. Who sits down during such a huge game? Anyway, we were down by 3 in the last quarter with like 5 seconds left. We stole the ball and made a 3 pointer and won in overtime. It was the best thing ever.
After that I went to yvette and maria's to finally exchange xmas gifts with everyone. Wow. I can't even believe what I got. A Joakim Noah shirt ( I didn't even know they made them. I looked EVERYWHERE), patrick kane poster, a pretty yellow bag, paramore dvd, much needed makeup, starbucks gift card, and a ticket to see katy fucking perry. The gifts I got from alllllll my friends this year were amazing. I'm very thankful. I'm going to see katy perry!
While we were in starbucks we were flipping through some prom magazines. It made me so excited! I already have an idea of what dress I want and how I want my hair and everything. I can't wait.
Saturday my brother tricked me into going to some party on north ave and had a very interesting night to say the least. I think i'm going to stay away from those parties for a while haha.
Happy birthday Patrick you asian bitch. Make me some noodles and eggrolls.
today at work they had this contest where a guy would win a million dollars if the hawks scored a goal exactly on the 10:00 mark in the second period. It was one of those things where you are most likely to get struck by lightning on a sunny day. Well, it happened. It was their only goal they scored the whole night and they scored it at exactly 10:00. The lucky bitch won a million dollars. how crazy is that?
After the game I was at my usual spot by the locker rooms and Patrick Kane came out. I definately felt my heart melt. He signed autographs which he never usually does but he was on his phone and didn't smile. I hate people who do that. You should talk and smile while you are meeting your fans. anyway, when his dad stood next to me I smiled at him and he gave me the weirdest death glare. He probably senses that me and his son are meant to be. lol. whatever he's fat and bald.
tomorrow is the first day of finals and did I study? of course not. Senioritis at it's best. Tomorrow is also a historical day. The past few days i've been watching all the inauguration stuff on t.v and it's making everything exciting. My school is marching in the parade in D.C. They postponed one of our finals so we can all watch it at school. our principal said that there are going to be news cameras all over and I will do everything I can to get on tv lol. Watch for me.
There is a certain inspiring glow in the air. Tomorrow will begin a new era.
