(no subject)
double yay for jenny who went to teh science museum with me. it was sooo much fun. especially the "greece" movie and their omg huge globe screen. haha for one of my fav quotes that i actually remembered "his name is too long, so blahblah calls him george" and then george leaving the house with this blonde girl throwing him something from the window. the volcano part was the scariest, and the ocean view was really beautiful. but the funniest has to be the alive statues at the end. we went and saw the lighting show, which was really cool. but i think that i'll always hate that it is soo loud. my ears hurt.
ohhh and yuck, we saw a real heart that was in a container. omg sooo disgusting. but my favorite part has to be the one with all the Xs and those pictures that look like something and then like something else too. i remember that in one of my classes in middle school we did a lot of those but i can't remember what class. urgh, it's going to bother me until i remember it.
i got home right in time for the second half of germany against portugal. and that's when the fun of the game began. in ten minutes, germany scored its first goal. it was beautiful, after so many chances that they had, they finally kicked the ball and shot. such a good goal. and you could see that the portugal guy was just about to touch the ball and kick it off. it is all in the seconds. the next goal followed in less than five minutes. the germans shot, and then the portugal guy kicked it off but then another portugal guy kicked it right into the net. so portugal scored for germany. i felt sooo bad for #8, it must be mortifying.
some time later portugal scored a goal, so i was thinking that there just might be a tie. but then germany scored their final goal and won the game! they were sooooo happy. and i was sooo happy. hehe. hey at least they got third place. that is like bronze, right?
i can't wait until tomorrow for the final world cup france versus italy. i'm really excited. you better watch it, i think it's at 1:30 pm but i have to check one more time. ooooh and if anyone wants to come to cabots with jenny and me and some other people, call because i don't have everyone's numbers.
