(no subject)
so i finally had some free time and was able to watch the world cup: ENGLAND VS PORTUGAL and BRAZIL VS FRANCE
For the first one, I was rooting for England. However, Rooney completely disappointed me. He seriously needs to take some anger management classes. and what about that step on the groin(as they said)? that was uncalled for. so because of him, england was down one man since he just had to go and get a red card. but i have to admit, england was sooo wonderful. through the whole game portugal didn't get a single goal in. their goalie was really good. since it was 0-0 by the end of the game, they got two 15 minutes extra playing time. and then again, it's 0-0. so then they had each team shoot 5 times, and whoever gets more goals wins. well the english were so tired by then since they were one man down, and their stupid coach substituted a sub for a sub. so in the end portugal won. gahhh.
then the next game i had to watch in spanish.
I didn't really have a favorite, but i kind of thought that Brazil would win. But oh my god. Brazil was soooo violent, yellow cards kept coming one after another. they kept grabbing the French by their clothes, their hands, legs, butts, whatever they can get. So in the second half, the French get an amazing shot that goes like from the side and right into the top part of the goal. and then the french just kept up with it and won the game.
the next game is on tuesday, which kind of sucks because i have family coming over and watching the fireworks. but hopefully they aren't going into overtime.
