on a happier note, i went to the theatre last night with mum to see the reduced shakespeare company again. i saw it a couple of years ago at the criterion in london with my flatmate. it's so excellent!
it had a few differences that i noticed, being in a provincial cotswolds town rather than our nation's capital... the english/american lie-chester square joke they did with war (like par)-wick-shy-er. it's weird, americans seem to be able to say worcester but not leicester. there's a worcester in massachusetts, maybe that's why. there's also an evesham in america on the same line of latitude as the one near me. i know interesting things.
