listen to the click as it all falls into place
had a meeting with my tutor yesterday. decided not to withdraw, but to take a year's interruption of study instead (yeah, all those who saw that coming a mile off and i wouldn't listen, say "aye") i'm happy with the decision, i get a year to get my head together, re-do three assignments so i'm all straight from last year, and maybe get into Vienna on the socrates scheme this time... i've been messed up a bit since the beginning of the summer, it's all starting to come together now :)
PLUS my bank said they'd keep my overdraft interest-free until i graduate in 2007 (woah how far away does that sound...) might have to start paying tax on my wages i guess, but it's not like i earn a mint, i can claim it back
can come back in the summer in 2006 and live in surrey or london for my fourth year... only pooey thing is that all my friends will finish a year before me, but all the ones who didn't take a gap year finished this year anyway. i'll have to convince the king's people to all do a masters and stay a year with me!
