that song has helped me through some hard times and even some good times. I have cryed to it many times and fallen asleep to it befor aswell. infact the whole album "after the gold rush" is good.

wow i was tagged i feel so special. i have too many favorite songs of all time, but here are the ones i can think of off the top of my head (in no particular order):

1. "treasure" - the cure
this is like the saddest song ever. i think i want this song played at my funeral.

2. "one in a million" - aaliyah
this is my favorite aaliyah song and it always makes me sad to hear it cos it sucks that she died so young, she was like the best r&b singer ever. beyonce and ashanti and all these new ones have nothing on her. she had the most sensual, soulful voice, and this song is a good example. plus this song is all lovey dovey and it's how i feel about my baby.

3. "where did you sleep last night" - nirvana
his version on mtv unplugged is sooooooooo haunting. so much angst and sadness in him. his performance was so haunting. i just watched it again the other day and it got me so depressed.

4. "a warm place" - nine inch nails
also very haunting, depressing song. yet at the same time peaceful. i imagine this song would play after i die and i'm at peace but i'm all depressed about dying. lol.

5. "here in my room" - incubus
a very very sexy song. brandon has the most beautiful, sexy voice ever! especially in this song.

6. "hyper ballad" - bjork
i love the lyrics to this song especially, and her voice is so amazing, and when i saw her perform this song i almost cried she is such a goddess.
