so lately i've been feeling kind of down... about college, about what i want to do with my life, about the future in general . i'm sure everyone can relate when i say that i wish there was a button you could push to tell you what direction to go in. personally, i feel pretty lost. there's so much i want to do that i don't want to make a wrong ( Read more... )

You don't have to commit yourself to a career - at least, not for a long time! All you have to do is pick a college that you like and feel at home at, and maybe have an idea of what major you want to pursue. Chances are good that your major will change your freshman year in college, plus you can always transfer... nothing is set in stone at all! Don't stress about it, enjoy it. It's going to be fun, and honey, you're going places :)

definitely don't worry about a career just yet, or even a major. I'm going to the school i fell in love with, and have absolutely no idea what i plan on doing once i get there. i don't have a major in mind at all, which surprises a lot of people. I'm just taking classes that look interesting, and eventually i'll find whatever it is i want to do with my life.

p.s. this morning i woke up and your away message said you were at the officers' metting and for a second i missed those days.

then i realized it was 11:15 and i had just woken up, and my sadness quickly turned into joy that i would never have to wake up early to go to an officers' meeting again.

p.p.s. senior year is fucking amazing. enjoy it.

jarrad, youre one funny kid. the thing about officers meetings now is that we cant have food in school because of peanut issues, so no donuts. weird huh? i guess thats good for me...dont have to keep buying them... haha

wow, that sucks that you can't have donuts even though the meetings take place before school. i mean, it's good that you don't have to spend as much money as i did buying them once a month, but still, donuts were the only thing that motivated me to get out of bed for an officer's meeting. if i hadn't brought them, everyone else would have rioted and eaten me instead or something.
