S & S Sauce...

I bought some spring rolls from Fresh and Easy a while back.  Well, what are spring rolls without sweet and sour?

Sweet and Sour Sauce Recipe

• 1/3 cup white or rice vinegar
• 1/4 cup brown sugar
• 1 tablespoon ketchup
• 1 teaspoon soy sauce
• 2 teaspoons cornstarch mixed with 4 teaspoons water

Mix the vinegar, brown sugar, ketchup, and soy sauce together and bring to a boil in a small pot. Mix together the cornstarch and water, add to the other ingredients and stir to thicken.

The original recipe called for less brown sugar which made the sauce more sour than sweet and it should be equal parts sweet and sour.  You can adjust the sugar to your liking.
