[ Despite the HORRIBLE WEATHER, Lambda has decided to brave it in hopes of joining Bernkastel, a.k.a. Rika. Oh, and the rest of the people in her group. Whatever. Who cares about them? Losers. But Bernkastel awaits her!
Even here, their eternal game of hide-and-seek continues. But instead of the game involving Bernkastel traveling to another dimension to hide and Lambdadelta following, this game involved...a tree.

A tree is keeping Lambda from catching up to Bern. Did you read the part where their game of hide-and-seek involves jumping between dimensions? Being cockblocked by a tree is pretty embarrassing! ]
This is totally the worst game mechanic I've ever encountered. Here I thought Beato's game had a habit of bringing out stupid gimmicks like duct tape, but a tree? One lone tree has stopped the great Witch of Absolution in her tracks. Miyoko, tear it out!
[ The Larvitar gives Lambda a look of "you crazy?" and stays put under the umbrella shading both it and Lambda, being held by the new Haunter she has acquired. Though it may not hurt like a Water-type attack, rain is still not something a Rock/Ground Pokémon enjoys. With a sigh, she lets out another Pokémon: Her Flaa--Oh, no, Magikarp. Whoops, wrong ball.

...I seriously didn't mean to call you out, but, wow, that power of yours sure does make you move faster. Granted, you're just flopping around uselessly twice as fast, but still! Impressive.
[ She tries to call it back, but THIS MAGIKARP, EMPOWERED BY THE MIGHTY RAIN, IS MUCH TOO FAST! Also, she doesn't really care and instead whips out her Flaaffy, which had just recently evolved from Mareep. It lets out a baa. ]
Okay! Lamb-da Junior, you have ascended to a higher plane of power, as evidenced by the fact you have attained the color of the mighty Witch of Absolution. You are my mighty pink sheep! Do...Do something about the tree.
[ Yeah, she is really proud her sheep is pink now. Anyway, the sheep electrocutes the tree with no effect. With a very disgruntled sigh, Lambda admits defeat. She also admits that the rain water is getting soaked up by her sheep's wool like a sponge and will likely smell terrible later. So, she returns Flaaffy to her ball. The Haunter lets out a laugh, Larvitar stays in the shade of the umbrella and eats some rocks, and Magikarp is flying all over the freaking place like seriously what is it even trying to do here. ]
...Change of plans! We will make camp and wait here for Bern. Yes, that is the best course of action.
