[ Another day, another endless series of crushing wild Pokémon to strengthen her own. Miyoko, her Larvitar, while in appearance not very befitting of the pink witch has the exact same attitude as her: with hard work and determination comes success!
The two of them are a bit horrifying in their cohesiveness in battle; they are almost the same being in two bodies. With a Bite, there goes an Ekans; with a Rockslide, there goes a Pidgey, a Rattata, a Hoppip; a Mareep lets out a Thundershock and in response, the same cold, cruel sneer grows on the faces of both Larvitar and Lambda--the sheep, completely incapable of harming the Rock Skin Pokémon, panics, but is knocked out by a fierce Thrash.
A Bellsprout appears and with Poison Powder, it successfully hinders Larvitar! Except totally not. Its ability, Guts, activates: representing the indomitable will possessed by both Pokémon and Trainer, the ability increases the creature's power when things get tough. The Bellsprout is nigh obliterated by the Thrash boosted by Miyoko's power.
And then, at the end of the day, they decide to face only one last opponent and it...Uh.
Huh.
Well, taking a risk and fishing sure was a waste of time. A wild MAGIKARP appeared! ]
I can't believe I wasted my money from working at that dump on this fishing rod. I know how useless these fish are! You, go away. I won't even waste our time bothering with you.
[ The Magikarp idly Splashes on the ground as Lambda and Miyoko turn away. Suddenly, Miyoko is knocked onto her face! Blinking, Lambda turns around just in time to catch a glimpse of red flying into her face.]
HUAGH!? Who dares assault the great Lady Lambdadelta without warning?!
[ Lambda shakes her head and glares at her attacker--! But then blinks in confusion once she realizes said attacker was Magikarp. This was the first one she has ever encountered that not only didn't try to run from battle, but went out of its way to instigate one! She looks down at it with a look between curiosity and rage. Miyoko steps forward, preparing an empowered Thrash, but Lambda holds out a hand and it stops.]
You're weak--the weakest of the weak! We've trashed dozens of your kind with no effort at all. But yet you're picking a fight with us? Something as weak and foolish-looking as you?
[ The fish flops around more, but it manages to keep its eye looking right into Lambda's. ]
Interesting. Fighting you would still be a waste, so I refuse. However! I, the Witch that rewards resolve, will do something better. You should feel proud, being useless and totally uncute!
[ She tosses a Pokéball and catches the Magikarp. ]
I will work you down to your chewy fish bones to see if you have any potential to back your Adamant nature. However, the moment that attitude ups and POOFS--FWOOSH, out you go and back into the water with your useless friends!
[ Miyoko gives its master a questioning look. ]
