VOTE, BITCHES!
Okay, now that my civic duty is done...
I went to the fabric store today and bought me a metric fuckton of kickass halloween fabric. It was on sale, marked from $20 a yard down to $7 a yard. I did something I've never done before: I put three (incomplete) bolts of fabric down on the cutting table and said, "Yeah, I'll take all of it." It's this awesome pattern that looks like it has holes burned into it, and the holes are backed with mesh. I bought black and gold, because those were the only two colors available, and I also bought out this gorgeous black mesh with gold threads woven into it. I found that on the sale pile and nabbed a ridiculous amount (something like 8 yards) for $4 a yard. I have enough stuff to make four or five bellydance costumes. Squee!
Of course I didn't buy anything until I'd already voted. ;-)
