Happy Canada from St. John's Nfld
The hotel here has a business centre so I thought it would be fun to wish everyone a Happy Canada Day. We have a dinner and dance tonight or we could go out on the town (again) and celebrate with everyone here. We are having a great time. Last Saturday to Tuesday we spent exploring with trips to Signal Hill, Cape Spear, Petty Harbour and some museums. The conference started on Wednesday with a reception at the Provincial Archives, Museum and Art Gallery called the Rooms. We have eaten much cod and yes Micaylah we have even had cod's tongue and cheeks. Lots of walking up and down the hills and across (easier than going up as they are very, very steep - worse than Quebec City). We are off tomorrow for Port au Basque (12 hour bus trip) and then a ferry over to Nova Scotia where we will spend a few day.
