(no subject)
So... I spent the night at Winshape last night with Lyndsay. It was so much fun. We played Apples to Apples in the RA office for hours. Then Daniel and Erica and I had a long, challenging discussion on the porch of Friendship when our 1.5 hr talk about watching a movie finally resulted in not watching a movie at all. I'm not sure whether the talk was profitable, but "Where two or more are gathered together in My name, there am I with them" so I believe that God can work some wonderful things even if we felt them to be distressing. At least we were made aware that when our talk of the Lord produces no peace or joy that it may be have been conducted in the proper way. SO yes.... I guess it was very profitable conversation.
Right now we are having a Lord of the Rings marathon... ALL OF THEM... EXTENDED EDITION... I absolutely love college and the nerds that accompany said existence. Happy sigh. But yeah, I'm deffinately not watching the whole thing. Yikes. It is a BEAUTIFUL day. There is a tinge of fall in the air... everything breathes with a crisp, revived life! I'm anticipating the turning of the leaves at Berry. It will be beautiful. Fall is wonderful. I hope that my foot heals quickly. I want to go walking in this beauitful world I have... but I'm on crutches. It's a bummer. La dee daa.... The orcs are eating each other. And Pippin and Merry are escaping into the woods. Yay. Go guys!
OOooh.... Yay for the riders of Rohan!! hehe. It's like you guys are watching the movie vicariously. Its so good. I'm a big fan. THis has been a great day because I've gotten to do nothing. I NEVER get to do nothing! I stayed in bed until like 11:30. It's 3:00 now and I've only done one productive thing all day. I swept the bathroom and cleaned the mirrors with Daniel. Good times. He challenged me! I had to prove my cleaning abilities. lol... like Tom Sawyer and the whitewashed fence. Well.. I'm off to watch Treebeard. I love him. He's great. "Side?
