On touristy stuff

Been doing touristy things this few days.

Had a hard time deciding whether to see Harry Potter naked on stage or a feel-good musical. It was a hard decision which i agonised over ;P If you were me, what would you pick? If you know me, you know that I would definitely pick the feel-good musical over seeing naked men anytime right *wink and wide grin*

By the way, Wicked was very good. You guys must catch it if you can.

Did a one day trip to Paris on Tues. Didn't expect to like it. BUT....................... the city has a lot of charm. Charmed my pessimistic and cynical socks off. It's a city in which you need more than one day to explore. Have to drop by again.

Just finished another day trip to Oxford, Straford-upon-Avon and Warwick today. Actually, it wasn't too bad, just that my limbs were in no condition to appreciate it.

Am in great aching pain from having to run down Eiffel Tower yesterday. Had to catch my tour coach so didn't have time to join the millions of tourists queuing for the elevator but had to run down the hundreds of steps, eating my cold, superbly expensive Parisian sandwich at the same time. Compounded to that, I had to make a mad dash for the tour coach once I was down. I felt like Lola in Run Lola Run.

Today, my limbs are in pain. It was especially excruciating walking up and down the stairs. I look like Ah Mah holding on to the stairs going up and down. But pain is good (for a short period at least). Helps to exercise those old, cranky limbs.

Note to self: Never ask people to take pictures of you for you. Most people can't compose a decent shot for nuts. My body or the monument I want to take is always being chopped off. Quite sad. Luckily I look quite bad in all the pics so they are all for my eyes only. *grin*
