Thanks to Zaunie Bench, the Red Sox don't suffer much

The Red Sox suuucked tonight. Wake just couldn't find the strike zone and shit just got all undone really really quick. They lost 15-8. Just an ugly ugly loss. However, on the bright side, the Rays lost to the Jays thanks to Zaunie Bench as one unidentified Red Sox player called Gregg Zaun, hitting a walkoff grand slam in the bottom of the 13th. Also the Tigers won against the Twins so there was no movement in either of the standings for Wild Card or AL East. I'll take it. You gotta take what you can in September, dammit.

Also, I lost power here for a good hour and a half. It sucked. I listened onto a walkman radio to wahtever I could find. I did a good ol' AM station finderoo. Keep in mind I live in the southern part of RI, tucked away from 95. I was able to pick up 1010 WINS, WWWT-AM and I heard the postgame show of the Washington Nationals broadcast(that was pretty fun), one of the many ESPN Radio affiliates out there, I also got WFAN as well which is kind of expected...though the coolest thing was that I picked up a station in Canada somewhere. I could tell because of their usage of the Celsius instead of Fahrenheit. I think it was either from the Maritime region or from maybe Hamilton, Ontario. That kind of sticks out to me. But regardless pretty cool to hear.

So anyways that's my misadventure for tonight.

red sox, o canada, radio radio, boredom, postgame wrapup, real life ish, nerdery, tra la laaa, lollerskates, losing still sucks, random, baseball
