Of WEEI.com, Pedroia Stories, and Pregamery
Hey there boys and girls, how are you today? I'm pretty good. I'm just bored as hell. I worked from 11:30ish till 5. It wasn't really that bad. I spent the last hour going back and forth between our Subway adn the Subway 5 minutes from my house(yes, I'm well aware that it'd be easier on me to work at the one 5 minutes away but I like the people I work with up there). So is there anything interesting going on, you may ask? Well, WEEI.com has now officially launched its bloggage stuff. I highly recommend Rob Bradford and Alex Speier for blogs. That's just because they're part of my triumvate of journalist crushes(I only crush on them from a journalist standpoint. Beyond that -- no thank you). Oh and the awesome blog known as Hacks With Haggs has Pedroia Stories as told by teammates Kevin Cash's story is pretty great. Cora's one line is funny too. Papi sounds smitten.
Anyways ballgame tonight. Red Sox are in Camden Yards for a 3 game set against the Orioles. It's Jon Lester vs Jeremy Guthrie. The Jays series left a bad taste in my mouth, so I'm hoping to see some awesomeness and some winning. Just keep Okajima the fuck away from the Orioles mmkay? Guthrie has been very underratedly good this season. He doesn't have the wins but he has a buttload of quality starts. Lester has been great this season too and between the two, I'd probably take Lester. And I hope that he validates my preference with a great start. Oh and for the bullpen to not suck too. Yeah, that'd be awesome.
